After his 5-0 shutout win against the Cossacks, Dillon Jensen said, "I went out there to try and eat up innings and help out our bullpen. I felt I had my good stuff... and it turned out my command was solid and my breaking balls were good."
They were better than good as the Crimson pitcher put up 5 strikeouts, surrendered 1 walk, allowed 5 hits and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long.

 | Monday, May 29th, 2028: Fito Smacks 5 Hits for Crush
Today the Silver downed the Crush 21-10, but Pedro Fito did his best to avoid it as he lashed hits all over Ballpark of Riverside College in a 5-hit explosion, finishing up with 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"I don't remember a better day batting, but it sure is disappointing to lose the game," the Riverside College first baseman said to SION reporters in the postgame interview. "A win would have made the day much sweeter."
Asked if he had a hitting philosophy, Fito said, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of good pitches to hit today, and I didn't miss any of them."
P. Fito hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off D. Ortíz in the 9th.
This season Fito has hit at a .360 clip with 28 RBIs, 2 home runs and 22 runs scored. He has played in 42 games.
